What a complete printer quality test page should reveal

A useful test sheet combines patterns that expose different failures instead of presenting a decorative image. Solid areas reveal density and missing channels. Gradients expose banding and tone compression. Small type and hairlines show sharpness. Grids and paired lines reveal scaling, skew, and registration.

Start with the smallest relevant page. If basic output is uncertain, use the ink saver check. If only black documents look wrong, avoid spending color ink and use the monochrome sheet. When a single hue is missing, move from the color overview to CMYK and then to the printer's built-in nozzle utility.
