How cartridge yield affects cost per page
Supply cost per page equals purchase price divided by rated yield. Paper cost is pack price divided by sheets. The calculator then weights monochrome and color pages using your selected monthly ratio.
Why the result is an estimate rather than a bill
Rated yields use controlled coverage and conditions. Real photos, dense graphics, cleaning cycles, startup pages, humidity, paper waste, maintenance kits, tax, power, and service can materially change ownership cost.
